Hey y'all!

With Halloween now past us, it's time to start looking towards the holidays and all the beautiful makeup and polish collections that come with them.  I have an exciting preview to show you for a collection that opens for pre-order TODAY!  While I was in Texas earlier this month, I connected with Laura of ellagee, and she gave me the opportunity to show you a trio from her new Limited Edition Bling In The New Year collection.

The Lights Of Times Square
Starting the fun is a gorgeous silvery white shimmer full of silver holo microglitters.  The formula on this one is slightly sheerer than the other two, and as such these swatches needed 3 coats for opacity.  As you can see, I probably could have used a third to completely eliminate VNL, but the polish is absolutely lovely and was easy to apply.  These pics show one coat of ellagee Grip Base Coat, three coats of The Lights Of Times Square, and one coat of Glass Top Coat.

I also grabbed a shot directly under my LED light, so you can see the blaze!

Dressed To The Nines
Coming up next is my personal favorite of the trio, which is terribly unsurprising given that it's the purple one.  Dressed To The Nines is a lovely royal purple base, packed with the same silver holo micro glitters.  Application was smooth and easy.  These pics show one coat of ellagee Grip Base Coat, two coats of Dressed To The Nines, and one coat of Glass Top Coat.

Again, I took a pic directly under my LED to help show off those holo glitters.

A Kiss At Midnight
Last but certainly not least is a beautifully rich red with those silver holo microglitters.  Like the others, application was lovely.  These pics show one coat of ellagee Grip Base Coat, two coats of A Kiss At Midnight, and one coat of Glass Top Coat.

And here's the LED pic where you can really see the shine come out.

As I mentioned earlier, these three are part of the Limited Edition Bling In The New Year Collection of 6 polishes which all have that gorgeous silver holo microglitter, and will be available under December 31, 2014.  Pre-orders begin today at 9am CST, with shipping to begin November 7, 2014.

Additionally, the full size bottles of these polishes all come with a removable sparking iridescent crystal ring on the cap.  If you're able to get your hands on these, I think they'll be a great addition to your holiday nail arsenal, and are sure to fire up your NYE looks.

In conclusion, I've absolutely fallen for this brand, which had been on my wishlist for a while.  I also ordered her Basics set, which included the Grip, the Glass, cuticle oil, and a crystal file.  I was surprised that the Glass looks a little cloudier than most of my other top coats, but it doesn't show up on the nail at all, and it dries just as fast if not faster than my SV.  The Grip base coat appears to work well - leveling pretty evenly and drying quickly.  The cuticle oil smells deliciously of oranges and soaks in fairly quickly, and the nail file seems to be of really high quality, so I'm quite pleased with the bundle overall.

Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend (and aren't too hungover from last night), and I'll see ya soon!
